I am Anosh Dawson from Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. Mechanical Engineer from IET DAVV, Indore and a curious photographer. I have been with YMCA New Bhedaghat since 2021 and though I have always been a bit of a wanderlust the treks and camps of YMCA have unlocked my sporty side and even improved my photography. YMCA has provided me with opportunities through national camps, and a chance to meet new people of different backgrounds and languages. YMCA New Bhedaghat also organizes many regional camps, treks and hiking that are fun, eco-friendly and adventurous, for all fitness enthusiasts and photographers it serves as a means to live their hobbies.
I embarked on a thrilling Rainforest walk trek in Jabalpur with my friend Melvin, despite initial reservations. The 11km journey was challenging, with fears to overcome, but the breathtaking scenery and sense of accomplishment made it unforgettable. From walking through wet meadows and rocks in the dark to witnessing a surreal sunrise, every moment was captivating. Braving rain, mist, and wind, we reached the peak, feeling relieved, joyful, and proud. This experience taught me to challenge my limits and never give up. I’m proud to have completed all the Rainforest walks, and I’ll always cherish this transformative journey.
